Reminder: Trump has been fighting for over four years not to release his tax returns.

If Obama had done that, the entire GOP and sycophant MAGAts out there would've been screaming to high heaven.

In fact, if Obama had done or said any of the questionable or disgusting things 45 has, the GOP would've been in a near-constant state of apoplexy.

The GOP are spineless cowards. It also probably means 45 has a lot of dirt on them. But the GOP has chosen the battlefield they want to die on, so I say let them.

Example of white privilege: Trump was proud of 'grabbing them by the pussy.' What if Obama had said that? The rabid right-wingers would've been burning crosses on the White House lawn.

What have we learned? In America, the GOP and MAGAts are perfectly fine with a rich, white man grabbing women by the pussy (which is disgusting, to begin with), but only if the candidate is WHITE.

They're nothing short of an ethically bankrupt Group of Psychopaths (GOP).

Told you so! But did you listen? Nope. And now here we are.

Folks, I wish I could ignore what's going on with America and just post funny stuff all the time. But the truth is, like so many others, I am alarmed by the things I'm witnessing on a daily basis. I will NOT be silent, ignore, or dismiss it. Because when you do those things, we know what happens, don't we? Refer to Hitler and the Holocaust if you're unsure.

Before I move forward, let's get a few things straight:

To quote my friend Traci D.: "...my timeline is not a democracy. It is where I post my feelings, funny memes and videos, outrage, encouragement, and anecdotes about my pets. If you don’t agree with something I’ve posted, that’s fine. Keep scrolling."

Yes, this is my Queendom. Not a democracy. I post what I want, when I want, and use the words I want. Your approval is neither asked for nor needed. You are not welcome to tell me what to say, how to say it, to shame me, or guilt me for speaking my mind (especially if you are MALE!).

Don't send me private messages addressing me as 'little lady' or anything of that nature while upbraiding me for using curse words, either. I will fucking scorch your ass (and the area around you) using what my husband terms my 'verbal napalm.'

If my mother(s), father(s), brother(s), and two husband(s) couldn't contain my outspoken and blunt nature, there is ZERO chance you will succeed. So don't even go there. Shut your trap and scroll on by for your own sake.

To be blunt, I DON'T CARE IF YOU AGREE WITH ME. If you do, great; if you don't, so be it. This is my personal space and it's for MY thoughts/opinions/posts. Your approval is NOT needed. Use your own wall (or blog) to post how you feel. That's what it's there for.

If you support Trump, time and hindsight will be your strict teachers and demonstrate how you were on the wrong side of history anyway, so I need only to wait to prove how I was correct and you were not. It's a given.

Now that I've gotten those things out of the way:

My country is not perfect by any means. But it is my home country and I love it. I am NOT OKAY with a foreign power having their hands in our election process and influencing it, and I'm NOT OKAY with a president who treats our allies like shit while giving aid and comfort to Putin and Russia.

And may I remind you that we are NOW talking about TRUMP. Not Hillary, not Obama, not Benghazi, or any of the other talking points used to curve the narrative to other subjects besides the most important one RIGHT NOW, which is the CURRENT TRUMP PRESIDENCY. Hillary lost, Obama is out of office, the Benghazi investigation turned up a Nothing Burger. STAY WITH THE CURRENT ISSUE AT HAND, which is the hydra of evil known as the TRUMP presidency.

I no longer see the GOP as what I used to recognize as the Republican Party. Instead, it's Trump's Party. It's a festering boil fed by too many members engaging in xenophobia, racism, white supremacy, misogyny, and homophobia. I've seen a lot of friends who used to be Republicans leave the GOP and become Libertarians or unaffiliated because they, too, no longer recognize what used to be their own political party. They're not okay with the shady shit that's going on. In other words, they put America before Trump's Party, which is how it should be.

I care too much about this country to remain oblivious, silent, or dismissive of what's going on with 45 and his administration. I will not be one of those people who turns away and pretends not to see the outrageous events that are occurring on a daily basis. So, while I'll still post funny stuff and the usual banter, you can also expect that I won't ignore issues that have a huge impact on this country and my fellow/sister Americans.

You can choose to: ignore what I post, unfollow me, or unfriend me. Do what you must. But in the scheme of things, what YOU do is of little concern to me when compared to the larger, more important issues of how the United States is being torn apart and gutted from the inside by an insidious, traitorous administration, all the while being aided by the GOP, who are inarguably complicit in this entire fiasco.

I will NEVER support a fascist or a demagogue

I get bothered by the whole, "Wanting Trump to fail as president is like wanting a plane all of us are on to crash." Oh, hold up. A lot of people who opposed Obama weren't repeating that mantra when he was in office.

If, in fact, Trump can be compared to Mussolini or Hitler in some of the actions he is taking or plans to take, imagine how ridiculous it would be to tell people that they need to get on the bandwagon and hope he succeeds. That makes NO sense. You don't just blindly fall behind or support ANY leader who is a threat to the nation and, possibly, the world.

Just like if it was Hitler or Mussolini, I would NEVER just 'get on board and support them' to keep the plane from crashing. In fact, as my husband pointed out, I'd WANT the plane to crash – even if I was on it – because I would want to be a decent human being and NOT support policies that cause irreparable harm or destroy our country. Alternatively, I would want to wrest control of the plane from the pilot. The latter, of course, is preferable.

Nope, I will NEVER be on board with Trump and his despicable administration, just as I would never be a team player under Hitler and Mussolini. And yes, I DO believe Trump could be THAT dangerous. I hope I will be wrong when all is said and done.

I also find it interesting how, for eight years, all we heard were people saying, "Hell no, Obummer isn't my president, never will be, and I hope he fails," and how the #1 directive of Republicans was to obstruct anything Obama did, regardless of how it might've helped average Americans.

NOW, all of a sudden, WE are supposed to be in lockstep with Trump and 'come together' for the sake of our country. I will NOT support a fascist or a demagogue.

[Random Thoughts] On annoyances in business and politics, and why I don't fit into the average corporate culture

Random thoughts apropos of nothing: ever been in a meeting and you're thinking to yourself, "What a load of horseshit. Can we just get this over so we can all go back to work and DO something productive?"

Decisions by committee are usually not effective. Corporate committees are nothing more than masturbatory circle jerks, designed to puff up egos and make it seem like something productive and important is happening. Much like Congress, come to think of it. Meanwhile, the 'little people' (usually the rest of us) are rolling their eyes in disgust or boredom.

If you want to know what's wrong and what's not working, ask the 'little people.' They know the real story and they know what's truly going on. If not for them, in fact, you wouldn't have your job as a CEO or manager, nor would you have been elected to office. So you better remember that, because we certainly will. Don't look down on the people who put you where you are today -- ever.

Like I've said many times, I truly believe people usually know what's going on in any given situation. They usually don't have the balls to speak up about it (the old pink-elephant-in-the-room thing).

This is why it's best that I work for myself the rest of my life. But I've done that for over 17 years so far, so I guess it would be difficult to fit me into the traditional corporate hierarchy at this stage. I'd be the one hollering that the emperor had no clothes, much to the horror of everyone else pretending he was wearing something. I'm probably a CEO or manager's nightmare employee. I don't have time to play stupid head games.

In business and in politics, we need people who are real and in touch with what's truly happening. Unfortunately, we keep putting people in those positions who are the opposite. Why is that? (It's a rhetorical question. I already know the answer, as do you).
